WEARING COSTUME JEWELRY

Newest way to wear costume jewelry: Pin a group of jeweled pins on a beaded necklace--pearls work well. It makes a very impressive necklace, the size now in style.

RE pearls at flea markets & yard sales - determine if they are real by [discretely] rubbing one up & down on your front teeth. If they slide cleanly like glass, they are fake. If they 'drag' somewhat, buy them - they're real.

I have this tall urn (ceramic polished) approx. 21"h x 13"d emerald color (the color seems to bleed). This urn seats on a brass base and a frame cradles around the body with tall handles. I wish I could submit a picture, I am not very good in describing. This urn does not have any numbers or writing at the bottom to go by, so it's been very hard to find any info on it. If anyone would like to see it, please e-mail me. I'll appreciate any info/comments I could get.
P.S. please excuse my husband's user id. I don't like it, I need to figure out how to change that.

Sorry, but I don't 'get it.' How
do you pin costume jewelry on
a necklace of pearls? Excuse
me for being so clueless, but I'm thinking how is this done? where do the clasps go?

Hi-
I have also found this works well for a single clip earring. I have a several single vintage clip earrings that I have purchased at yard sales etc. I just clip one to a chain and it looks great as a pendant and is very unique.
