I have a big box of each but never thought to combine....thanx for that very good tip :<)
RE pearls at flea markets & yard sales - determine if they are real by [discretely] rubbing one up & down on your front teeth. If they slide cleanly like glass, they are fake. If they 'drag' somewhat, buy them - they're real.
I have this tall urn (ceramic polished) approx. 21"h x 13"d emerald color (the color seems to bleed). This urn seats on a brass base and a frame cradles around the body with tall handles. I wish I could submit a picture, I am not very good in describing. This urn does not have any numbers or writing at the bottom to go by, so it's been very hard to find any info on it. If anyone would like to see it, please e-mail me. I'll appreciate any info/comments I could get. P.S. please excuse my husband's user id. I don't like it, I need to figure out how to change that.
what does the urn have to do with wearing costume jewelry???
sorry, I posted the comment under the wrong category!
Sorry, but I don't 'get it.' Howdo you pin costume jewelry ona necklace of pearls? Excuseme for being so clueless, but I'm thinking how is this done? where do the clasps go?
Can you post a photo of wearing costume jewelry on a necklass - I am having a hard time visualizing.
Hi-I have also found this works well for a single clip earring. I have a several single vintage clip earrings that I have purchased at yard sales etc. I just clip one to a chain and it looks great as a pendant and is very unique.
old tubular type slide ruler about 30 inch X 6 inch wood base any ideas!
