VAMPIRE KIT SELLS ON HALLOWEEN

A record crowd attended the Halloween sale at Stevens Auction Co. in Aberdeen, Miss. The vampire kit we mentioned last week sold for $8,800. John Stevens told us the auction business is doing well again.

I have a Poem Book leather bound about 4"x6"x 3/4" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow dated 1907. It is written on inside and says Joann Kennedy. There is a written message on the same page to a Margaret from Jack. Has anyone ever heard of a book like this or do you know its value?

There seems to be some real serious Halloween collectors and I'd sure like to know how to get ahold of anyone of them who might be interested in Halloween postcards, unwritten from the 20's or 30's.They're in good condition, I have 2. Not as interesting, scarey or novel as a vampire kit but almost as cute as baby in a pumpkin costume! My e-mail: robmar6148@sbcglobal.net
