EX-SMOKERS, HOLD ON TO YOUR SMOKING COLLECTIBLES

When you quit smoking, keep your tobacciana collectibles. Tobacco stands without the top parts are good plant stands. Cigarette cases are popular as small purses that will hold a credit card, driver's license and a little money. Tobacco tins and boxes are interesting storage containers, and the box labels and cigar bands work well for decoupage projects. Best of all, ashtrays can be used to hold short stemmed flowers or kept in the bedroom to hold earrings and rings overnight.

Ashtrays, especially nice heavyweight crystal ones, make wonderful candle plates! I also kept several sets of the old "snowflake" nesting ashtrays, which never looked much like ashtrays to begin with, to make a nice grouping of 4, 3, and 2" diameter pillar candles.

USE AN OLD GLASS ASHTRAY THAT WAS FROM A RELATIVE AS A SOAP DISH. ALSO THE SMALLER MATCHING ONE I USE AS A COASTER FOR MY DRINK.

I have a large collection of match books from all over the world. Is there any value to the collection?

I used to send in a lot of UPC's for BensonHedges when my hubby smoked for "free" gifts such as wine glasses, terry cloth bath robes, picnic basket sets, etc., all with BH Logo on. Also have a lot of T-shirts with Marboro 'trivia' on. Should I hang onto for collectable value?
