The mention of the Road Show triggered a memory. On one of the very early shows someone brought in a metal helmet that was identified as a parade helmet, I think from Milan, Italy. Never heard anything more about it. Figured a museum probably staked a claim pretty quick. Do you have any more information?
It's funny that you mention that helmet. I think about it frequently. From the information from that original "showing" on the Road Show it seemed they were "suggesting" that the helmet may have been stolen. And, with all the reruns, wouldn't they have shown that helmet again? There's something fishy ...
