EBAY SITE IN FRANCE FINED AGAIN

EBay in France was fined $2.55 million for allowing sales of genuine Louis Vuitton perfume on its website. The court had fined the French eBay site in 2008 for not stopping the sale of counterfeit Vuitton products. Part of the agreement made last year called for eBay to stop all Vuitton sales on its French site to prevent the sale of fakes.

What about all the other counterfeit /fake/ bootleg products being sold on all their sites? Are these exempt?

If this was sale of Genuine Lous Vuitton as it states here above,
then I think Louis Vuitton should be taken to court for missuse of leagal
procedures- just to protect their brand.

The lawsuit was started by Vuitton and it was decided that the only way to be sure fakes were not sold the court decided eBay had to remove all of the brand.

In 2001 I bought a PS2 popular then because I got hurt at work and tried to save $25.00. Guess what I lost the whole $275 because the "CROOK" sent me just a pic of the PS2.YES that was my purchase according to him.
Checked his status 100% for the previous 6 months sohe built up trust and at CHRISTMAS left alot of people sad at Christmas. IMy son went without because I didn't have anymore money.
